I have been a parent for forty-two years. I am a proud grandparent of fifteen grandchildren. I believe all children have unique potential. My goal in the classroom is to find and develop each students strength and help them overcome difficulties.
I was resident of Aldine I.S.D. for twenty-seven years. My sons graduated from Eisenhower. Aldine educated me as a parent of students with learning difficulties. It was because of this that I decided to become an educator in the district.
My education began at Lone Star College at the Carver High School Campus. After receiving my Associates Degree there, I transferred to University of Houston Downtown where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Multi-Cultural Education.
I work very hard as an educator to work with parents, students and administrators to do what is best for students in my class. I want each student to leave first grade ready for the challenges of second grade.
