Our goal is to provide the optimum opportunity for learning for all students, and we believe that a positive working relationship between the school and home will help us reach that goal. When students see a positive relationship between the home and school, they are more likely to develop a positive attitude toward school. I ask that parents get involved and show your children that you are interested in what they accomplish in school daily. Encourage your children to attend school each day, to give their very best effort in class, and to come with a positive attitude toward school and teachers.

My goal is to provide a safe and positive learning environment in which all students feel confident to participate and grow. Earning my B.S. Degree from Prairie View A&M University, a Masters of Education (Reading) from Prairie View A&M University, and a Masters of Education (Administration) from Sam Houston State University.

Looking forward to working with all stakeholders. Our mission is to move our school forward in a positive and productive manner that will enhance our students' lives through academics and life skills.

It is my love for teaching and my belief that all students can learn which propel me to passionately do my work and bring about positive change. I am privileged to be part of the Dunn Bears family.

I bring with me 14 years of educational experience. Prior to coming back to Aldine ISD, I served as district multilingual specialist in Houston ISD. I also had the opportunity to serve as a secondary ESL programs coordinator in Spring ISD and district language instructional specialist in Klein ISD. Most of my Texas educational experience (seven years) was with Aldine where I performed varied roles as a reading specialist, dyslexia specialist, district staff development presenter, curriculum and assessment writer, and teacher.

I earned my Masters of Education in Administration degree from Lamar University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Bachelor of Science in Education from St. Theresa’s College, Philippines. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate of Educational Leadership degree at Sam Houston State University.

I look forward to serving and collaborating with all Dunn Bears stakeholders because “It takes a village to raise a child” and together we will produce the nation’s best!

Traveling abroad allowed me to appreciate the importance of communication.  I believe that effective communication amongst everyone can solve many issues that we have before us today.  THIS IS THE REASON I BECAME AN EDUCATOR.  We are given a special chance to help our students become responsible, productive citizens when they are adults.

I graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana with a Major in Elementary Education and a focus in English as a Second Language.  My focus in ESL is what attracted me to Aldine ISD.   Since that time, I attended and graduated with my Masters of Educational Administration degree from Sam Houston State University.

I started my educational career in Aldine ISD when I did my student teaching, and I am honored to have been here ever since.  During my time in Aldine I have taught Reading/Social Studies, and Math/Science classrooms at Thompson Elementary.  Most recently, I was the Math Skills Coach at Black Elementary.  Now, I am privileged to be a Dunn Bear.
